Make sure to comment on thesis statement- does it address the entire prompt and deeper meaning/theme?
Check first sentences of each body paragraph- is each an assertion?
Does the evidence in each body paragraph support the assertion AND the original thesis statement?
Does elaboration analyze to connect back to the theme/deeper meaning and thesis statement?
Must comment on each paragraph
Write C/B and your name at the top of essay before returning it to its owner
Choose one more person in your group to review the score and comments. They may agree with the comments and score, add to it, and/or revise.
